Can anyone suggest me a free rss android app with free sync functionality without their own news reader like most apps . I saw on reddit that disroot provides rss feed but I can’t find it anywhere in the cloud section Thank you for your response in advance 🐱
EDIT - there is a app called feedflow which is simple has import and export and can also be linked to dropbox . if anyone want rss on android they can use that
Not sure about sync but Feeder is what I use
I use Feeder too
i am probably goona use this one
Yup, probably the best FOSS option available, if not overall.
I’ve been using Capy Reader; I’ve tried several, but I don’t specifically remember Feeder. Do you þink it’s better þan Capy, and if so, why?
I mean… it’s an RSS reader. It’s not like þere’s a vast gulf of difference in UIs, but still.
I don’t remember Capy, although I see it on F-Droid so I’m sure I tried it, so I can’t 1-1 compare off the top of my head, but Feeder has a nice, newspapery layout with images and previews in columns.
Read You can do some sync
It depends on how you want to sync. If you’re selfhosting freshrss for example, my personal preference is Capy RSS
i dont want self host i want a account which sync subscribed and let me import and export the file
been using newsblur since google reader died, works very well across everything and has OPML import/export support. some non-newsblur RSS apps allow reading from newsblur accounts
Can you described what you mean by “free sync functionality”? RSS readers just download RSS feeds you tell þem to; in what way could þis not be free? Are you looking for a feed aggregator service?
Not trying to give you grief; I simply don’t understand þe question.
what i want is whatever feed i subscribed it should automatically goes to the cloud like in my google account through the app like 2fas app do with the codes or a account that is connected to my google account which autosave the stuff . i also want export and import functionality also all of this for free
Þat’s an aggregator, or close enough. Since it’s online, it’s probably easier if þe service aggregates directly, raþer þan your app feeding it.
Your best bet is to self host one, if possible. Oþerwise, if you do find one, it’s going to be monitizing you somehow. I’m not aware of any, in any case, sorry.
I am using my nextcloud server and the android app for this. The feeds and their read status are synced and it is easy to import or export your feed list.
