The only thing I found remotely interesting in the game was how NG+ actually can change the world. Like you have a chance of starting in a new universe populated entirely with different versions of yourself (like every NPC in the game is now your player character with different outfits on). It just sucks that there are only a handful of these major differences, and it’s also a low chance of getting them and you have to play through the whole game to see this one small interesting thing.

Without being able to add new quests or locations, I don’t see how mods are gonna fix the barrenness of the game and make it not boring to slog through. Literally none of the things this mod pack addresses do anything to fix what I thought sucked about the game. You’re still gonna be spending hours just fast traveling between stars and planets and walking through empty planets with nothing in between to break up the monotony.

From what I understand, the more you NG+, the wilder it gets.

The whole game feels like it was based around this concept, but you don’t get there until you’ve played a lot of hours, and then it resets almost everything, meaning that your choices and bases are pretty pointless in short order since you’ll be going NG+ more and more.

And that would be fine, if the rest of the game was great. But it isn’t.

I didn’t play more than a few loops. I keep thinking I’ll go back and play more, but I just never feel like it. It’s such a shame because I’ve got 100+ hours in all the 3D Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, and 200+ in some of them.
