Ok that makes sense why it had come up a few times in my search. Thank you!

undefined> At the same time I’m not mad about the lack of polish in this stage. A lot of the things people hated about reddit came from a particular type of mean-spirited and/or low-effort user… maybe the requirement of a little effort and patience/empathy on our parts now could be to our ultimate benefit :)
I think this is a fantastic point! And I think we should just celebrate the fact this is Reddit. I will give Kbin a look over and see how I feel using it! Thank you!
Ultimately I am so impressed with how well this has all handled the mass exodus from Suckit Reddit. I think this has all the potential and I am committed.
I’m mostly running into loading issues. I am also struggling to navigate and find “my feed” if you will. And I have noticed I have to click things several times before it acknowledges the request.
Damn end of the month would be incredible! I’ll sit tight then and see!
I probably would be, I’ll tell my inner cynic to shut it 😅 ok cool I’ll give that a whirl! Thanks.
Fuck Reddit. I’m happy to sacrifice and I think the masses are too seeing how many new communities are popping up over the last 24 hours. Thank you for your reply!
Ok thank you! Any suggestions on how you more smoothly navigate the website on mobile?
That’s kind of what I thought, it feels good knowing I was on the right track. Thank you.
Ok thank you! At least I know not to keep searching google 😅
A “Mark Read on Scroll” feature. I’ve noticed each time I’m entering a previously viewed community I have to scroll past the stuff I’ve already seen. This could be user error as I’m fairly new to this.
I wish there was a quality iOS app for it. I keep having to use my browser because Mlem crashes every few seconds not to mention the UI is…well I would just really like an iOS app to enjoy Lemmy from!
Are you a Data Architect?
undefined> I just subscribed to both and kept getting depressing memes to cry before going to sleep. No issues.
Hahahaha I’m sorry but the way you snuck this in at the end just killed me. But you have a valid point. Every platform like Reddit/Lemmy has duplicates. That is kind of the point.
Only app I have found so far that comes close to this (outside of Mastodon) is Memmy. It works great and searches communities from instances that are federated. So far no serious complaints and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
