I can imagine RAM scavengers marauding the wastelands.
Hah, hah, hah!
I made you look.

Even without opening I can tell it’s the common loon, because that haunted me for years, and when I heard it as an adult, twenty years later I was like “Rogan?”
A good mealtime video about why it is so prevalent: https://youtu.be/DVFBUIGfcJk

Get your slop 'ere! Fresh from the data center!

I need to come to the understanding that I won’t have a Steam Frame when the first (or second) batch is available, and I will have to endure months of people talking how great it is without a chance of trying it.

I forgot about Hi-Fi Rush: https://www.protondb.com/app/1817230
Pretty cheap right now and pretty unique gameplay as well.

UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves is about 14 bucks and has around 60 hours of some of the best third person gaming I’ve played. Initially I thought it was just a Tomb Raider clone, but both the game mechanics and story are very polished.
Plus it played buttery smooth on my system, though it depends on your settings: https://www.protondb.com/app/1659420?device=steamDeck
The downside is that it eventually ends.

I dropped smaller consoles on my face to build up tolerance, so probably I’ll be ok. :)

Question to those that use it: Don’t you get your arms and/or neck tired playing? I only used smaller handheld consoles in the past and I can’t imagine myself holding this around for an hour.
Initially you’ll probably hold a bit to not hurt his feelings, but quickly you’ll start sweating. (That’s my experience)

Maybe I could buy Road Rash?

I wonder what EA IPs have just died right now?
Cryptmaster is both hilarious and fun to play. Maybe the art choices aren’t for everyone, but I did love the old ttrpg illustration style.
Sometimes I will just throw weird words to see if there’s a recording of it.

Snatcher and Policenauts would be majorly welcome, though I don’t have high hopes being published by Konami.

Oh, so it’s just Cyberpunk but boring.
Why walk when you can fly?

Ok, so in reality the article says that they have made progress on how to glue together battery components to facilitate battery recycling (current solid state battery recycling is messy and complex), but that was a PoC, and they need to see if they can use the process to create high performing batteries.

That’s mostly what I do with new games. Whenever there’s an offer, I ask myself “Am I going to play this for at least one or two hours right now?” If the answer is no, then I don’t buy it.
That’s not the same for local cooplayer games, though I have way enough to fulfill two lifetimes, and recently we’re just playing through the Wii catalog.
(I didn’t want to be dismissive of this approach, I was just airing my grievances)
I mean… “scary island” is probably one of the top genres in Japanese horror/mystery fiction. Then again, I guess this is a case of “there’s no bad publicity”.
