151·3 months agoThat’s well and good, but imagine keeping your software backwards compatible with an ancient 14 billion year old file standard.
Have you checked out the Refoss garage door opener? My experience has been pretty good since I bought it last year. Customer support was also very responsive for my minor issue.

3·3 months agoI think I’m mixing the two because there are services that kind of turn Mastodon into an RSS reader.
That’s true that it is somewhat more robust than requiring a federated account, but I think that comes at the cost of discoverability which may or may not be something you might want to broadcast on a social network anyway 🤷♂️

120·4 months agoUnder questioning, however, one of Proven’s employees admitted that he had been able to duplicate McNally’s technique, leading to the question from McNally’s lawyer: “When you did it yourself, did it occur to you for one moment that maybe the best thing to do, instead of file a lawsuit, was to fix the lock?”
Litigation over innovation; that’s the American way.

6·6 months agoThe iPhone Air is so small, I feel like I’ll sit on it and it will slide seamlessly up my rectum, never to be seen again.
There’s a 6.9” (nice) display joke here, but it’s too early in the morning to fit one in.

2·11 months agoI’ve shrugged off a couple other apps because LunaSea was so good. Gonna miss it when it finally breaks.
I was looking forward to the successor app, but given the circumstances of the present situation I don’t see that happening now :(

It’d be kind of neat to take the battery from your old vehicle and port it to your new one. An automotive BYOB, if you will.
