One thing that I didn’t see mentioned about thruster control is that when enabled, your ship will continue its path regardless of your heading, making it possible to blow by an enemy while turning to maintain target lock.
It’s a sort of newtonian mode. I made it a toggle on steam deck, and it works great, so I don’t have to hold LB RB.
